Rotting teeth are very serious. The damage is not just limited to the tooth and gums. The reason is that the bacteria causing the infection can spread throughout the bloodstream. This can make someone very very sick. When this happens the person can become septic(bacterial infection of the blood). Please seek treatment for the rotting tooth before it gets worse.

Highly unlikely, although a rotting tooth can be infected. If your tooth is infected, you are throwing that infection into your body. It can cause other problems if left untreated, especially if you have pre-exsisting conditions such as an auto immune disease , heart problems or joint replacements. Get to a dentist and have the problem taken care of.

You cannot usually get brain damage. However, if your tooth is left rotting long enough it could actually kill you.

Brain damage, no. But death is possible if the tooth abscesses and the decay reaches the bloodstream, due to the fact said bloodstream is so close to the brain.
