Of course you can have one on your scalp. Staph bacteria can get in through any cut. Your hair doesn't protect you from bacteria. Make sure you're cleaning it at least twice daily, and go to the doctor. If it is a staph infection, they may have to shave your head there.

You can get a staph infection on your scalp. It can be caused from a low immune system from an illness or chemo treatment. This can be caused by having leasons on the scalp as well as oozing form the wound and would be very sore and red to the touch.

You can get a staph infection anywhere on your body that you have an open wound, but to just suppose you have a staph infection is a stretch.

You can get a staph infection anywhere. Be sure you don't have lice. The first thing I would do it to see a dermatologist and have them look and test the area. Either case staph infections are serious and lice can be transmitted to others in your household, through head coverings, towels and combs and brushes.

You can get a staph infection anywhere. If you got a cut or wound on your scalp that was exposed to staph (which occurs naturally everywhere), you might have it.
