You can choose to no longer use their services. However, you do have to pay for the time they have worked up to this point. They must give all forms and information to any new attorney you choose. It is like seeing another doctor.

You can discharge your attorney at any time. The attorney is your employee and serves at the pleasure of the client. Your attorney may be entitled to a partil fee.

You can always fire any attorney at any time. You should note, however, that firing an attorney at the last minute can hurt your case.

Yes. You can fire any type of attorney. You can also request that your attorney withdraw. Though you may want to talk it over with your attorney and see if you can work out your differences. Social Security can give you a list of attorneys available in your area.
