Yes you can. However, generally the market for used toy trains is for collectors, which means the prices are generally pretty high. You would be better off checking classifieds like freemesa or craigslist to see if people are getting rid of their trains. However, given the price, it might not be worth the trouble, versus buying new.

you can buy used trains in flea market or online. try searchin in ebay or amazon maybe there you can find trains that is still in good working condition.
