The symptoms that arise from initial infection with the HIV virus will not appear in just a few hours. It takes a few weeks for the virus to cause symptoms and when these symptoms start, they will be non-specific and of a flu-like quality.

HIV is the condition of having the virus. AIDS is when the virus becomes active. There are no symptoms of HIV; when AIDS develops is when symptoms become obvious. Generally, these symptoms, which are many and varied from patient to patient, develop over periods in excess of a few hours.

No, someone does not show HIV symptoms over a course of a few hours. HIV symptoms take years as the initial period is an incubation non-symptomatic period.

This is not true HIV symptoms cannot occur in just a few hours because the virus needs time to enter the blood stream and start multiplying and this usually takes three months to know if you are infected with the virus.
