Can my 16 year-old daughter change her surname from her father's to mine?

She can when she reaches the age of 18 and than she has to pay so much to have her last name changed.But she still has to go in front of a judge and explain why she wants her last name changed and I think she can also get it legally changed if you adopt her.

Yes she can. She will have to put an ad in the paper notifying anyone who wants to challenge it. People are allowed to call themselves whatever they wish.
