Can mimosa pudica be used in food?

I know it's an herb.

As far as I can tell, yes. It is used in tribal medicine and is considered a "garden herb" so you should be able to put it in foods, but it is said to have a bitter and astringent taste. It is considered an invasive weed in areas so check before growing any yourself.

If it is a non-posionous edible herb then it should be alright to use it in food I suppose so.
