Yes, MaxiGlide can damage your hair if it is used for too long. Try not to use it too often or else it could really hurt your hair. Any heat can damage your hair if you use it too much, even blow dryers. Try only to use it a few times a week.

MaxiGlide can absolutely damage hair if used too often. Just like any other hair product, that generates heat, (such as a blow dryer) if used daily can cause hair ends to become brittle, dry, or split. Use the MaxiGlide, at the most, every other day in order to reduce the chances of hair breakage.

I always had very frizzy hair, i always tried frizz ease and it didnt work. i bought so many straightning irons they just flattened my hair making it sooo limp! my hair is beyond straight now plus the teeth dont just flatten my hair they brush it while straightening it so it could look even.

MaxiGlide doesn't recommend it's use on hair that is fragile or damaged. Heat can and will dry out your hair if used often. Maybe occassional use wouldn't damage your hair.

The MaxiGlide, as with any product which delivers heat to the hair shaft, can damage hair if over used, or not used properly. Heat can be very damaging to hair.
