Can I wait until my boyfriend gets out of prison?

How long is he in for? You are allowed to visit him. Is he innocent? Be sure to write letters. He'll appreciate it.

It all depends on how you feel about him that will determine if you will wait. If you feel that your life will be wasted waiting on him, then maybe you may want to consider not waiting on him at all. If you love him and want to wait then do so. If you can't then you should move on.

Simply because you CAN wait, doesn't mean that you should. A former inmate has little to offer in the way of a future for himself, much less a partner. Love yourself first, and then find someone worthy of being loved by you so that you have a chance in life.
