Can I use Scott's Liquid Turf Builder in the hot summer?

Summers are very hot where I live.

I have used this type of product before and it doesn't matter how hot it is outside as long as you get the summer formula of this product.

Yes, you can use Scott's in hot weather. Mow your grass down to about 2 inches, and make sure you pick a day with no wind. The fertilizer can be messy to apply.

That is not the time to get the best results for any lawn product. Usually treating the lawn in early spring or late fall gets you the best results.

I wouldn't try it. I would wait until the summer heat is gone. Probably fall or spring is a good time.

As long as you have the ability to water it consistantly then yes. Excessive heat is only damaging if it is coupled with draught. Typically, though, in a very hot region you might be better off using a granular product. Hot sunny days can end up evaporating some of the liquid products before they ever make it into the soil.
