Swallowing a small amount of toothpaste occasionally, hopefully by accident should not harm an adult. Children should be watched to ensure they do not swallow toothpaste, as it can affect their small bodies more severly. Also frequent consumption of toothpaste is not advised.
I've been swallowing my toothpaste for years with no harmful effects. No indigestion either. I only use a pea size bit. Can't hurt, probably helps reduce decay. No fluoride in the water here in NJ. None naturally, and the wacko right wingers intimidate the public health officials to not add add a comment
