No. While every woman's cycle is different, for women with cycles between 28-32 days in length, ovulation would occur between days 11 and 21. The standard rule of thumb is that ovulation occurs 14 days before your next period. If your cycle is regularly 30 days, you would ovulate on day 16.

Yes anything is possible, usually you can tell when you are ovulating by your temperature in the morning before you get out of the bed. Ovulation prediction tests are also sold in most drug stores and that may help you predict when you might ovulate on your 30 day cycle.

Although ovulation most commonly occurs around day 14, it is possible sometimes to ovulate earlier than expected, for a variety of reasons. It is not uncommon to ovulate slightly early in the cycle, or earlier in one cycle and later in the next. It is a little unusual, but not impossible, to ovulate on day 9.

Yes you can ovulate on day nine of a thirty day cycle but it is highly unlikely. This would result in your luteral phase of you cycle would be to long for a pregnancy to occur.
