You need: 4 garlic cloves (peeled, finely chopped), a pinch of salt, 2 egg yolks, 1 cup olive oil, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp water, 1 tsp lemon juice. First, grind together garlic, salt. Whisk in eggs. Then, incorporate slowly half of oil. Whisk in Dijon, water, lemon. Add rest of oil and whisk/blend together until firm or pasty.
