Cats can have allergies to certain medications and flea medication can sometimes cause seizures. Most of the time it will be a neurological disorder or feline epilepsy. If you suspect the flea product you are using is causing a seizure, discontinue and try a homeopathic remedy.

Some feline flea medication and heartworm medication can cause seizures in cats. Some of them may contain dangerous chemicals that can be harmful, so reading the product's label is important.

Not usually. Any medication can have side effects, but it would be rare for flea medicine to cause seizures in a cat.

Seizures are probably rare. Always use flea medication under the supervision of a veterinarian and be sure you follow the instructions for it exactly.
