Pennyroyal oil. Kills fleas and has no adverse effects on the dog. Any whole foods store should have it or you can search online.

I give my dogs rice spiced with garlic and onion powder. This keeps the fleas off them pretty well. Also, you can try bathing her with a bit of lavender in the water. That makes her coat stay a bit more slick to keep them from jumping on her.

Anything with lavender in it will kill fleas. Make sure you go through her coat of fur thoroughly with a flea comb to make sure you got every one.
