If they can get the sperm (either from the testes directly or from a sample frozen before the vasectomy), then it could work if the sperm motility is sufficient.

It can still be successful, but possibly less so than in an identical couple where the man has not had a vasectomy. A vasectomy is meant to sever the route for the sperm to get out of the body, however, it is not meant to interfere with sperm production. However, over time sperm production can be reduced slightly.

Over time men develop antibodies to their own sperm. Some will have enoguh antibodies so that they do not have sperm that can cause a pregnancy, and they will need to find a sperm donor to have a child by artificial insemination. Others will be able to do so, especially with modern techniques.

You would have to talk to a doctor about it, the doctor can tell you if it would be possible or not. I think it might not be possible at all, but the doctor would know best.
