Yes it is possible for a virus to cause liver damage in cats. Feline corona virus, leukemia virus, and flu virus can all cause liver problems.

The short answer is yes. See a vet they can do tests and find the problems and give you medicine that will help the cat.

It depends on the virus and how sick it made the cat. If it was serious enough it could have caused liver damage.
