What does bankruptcy law in California say about credit card debt and marriage?

My husband filed for bankruptcy in California and the credit card companies are now coming after me.

If your name is on the credit card, you are equally liable. If the debt was incurred during the marriage, you are considered responsible for half.

By marriage you share the same estate as your husband. As a result, a creditor can pursue a married spouse for the same debt owed in the marriage.

You didn't file for bankruptcy too? You can file as a couple you know. Legally if your husband occurs debt you BOTH are responsible for repayment of that debt.

If your husband discharged the debt he is no longer obligated to pay it. If your name was on the credit card in any fashion you are obligated.
