Dogs can get food poisoning; however, it is a lot harder for them to get food poisoning then it is for humans to. In fact dogs can eat raw chicken. Make sure you rinse off the chicken before giving it to your dog, but my vet recommends giving my dog a raw chicken wing daily to naturally clean her teeth.

Dogs could get food poisoning, but it is rare. The dogs digestive system are adopted to cope with bacteria like e-coli and salmonella that are often found in raw meat.
