Can a bug bite on the head cause hair loss?

Yes, while most bug bites do not cause hair loss, tick bites can cause patches of hair to be lost. Also, while a bug bite might not directly cause hair loss, if a person itches a bug bite too aggressively, this can irritate the hair and scalp, and therefore also lead to hair loss.

No, not permanent hair loss, at least. A bug bite on the head may cause temporary hair loss due to irritation (such as swelling) at the location. However, unless the bug bite is seriously poisonous and some how damages the hair follicle or the skin tissue itself, the hair will certainly grow back in time.

It is very doubtful that a bug bite could cause hair loss. More likely your hair loss is due to stress or other causes. If the hair loss ceases, I would try to cut out stress from my life.

bug is the common enemy for human beings. it sucks blood and protein in hair. it may cause hair fall. because protein is the main source for growing hair and its strength. so use anti bug hair oil for avoid the growth of bugs. it kills the bug especially,neem oil used to kill the bugs. it is useful for your hair retain.
