Most cases you can hear the baby's heart beat at 12 weeks with an amplified doppler and you can hear it on an ultrasound.

Usually your doctor can hear the fetal heartbeat at 10-12 weeks. You can hear it on ultrasound but your doctor will have a device to help hear it before that.
