There are many ways to store wine. Wooden racks are perhaps one of the cheaper elegant manners. Inelegant manner include closet or counter-top piling. The key to remember is to keep the wines in a dark environment with a constant temperature, preferrably on the cool side. Prolonged storage involves adequate humidity levels.

The best way to store wine is in a cooler that is made especially for wine. It's almost like a small fridge. The temperature is regulated to keep the wine at it's best.
