Although Ugg boots are still as comfortable as ever and a great functional wardrobe component, they are no longer considered to be a current trend. Almost 10 years ago, they gained popularity in the US. Recently they've been pushed to the back of closets in favor of slouchy suede boots.

Ugg boots came into vogue when celebrities wearing them. As with most trends, it takes a while for fads to trickle down to the public, but they are still worn.

No. Ugg boots are ugly. They went out of style a couple of years ago, I think. I don't see anymore celebrities in them anymore either.

Ugg boots were always a "love it or hate it" style that many people were strongly opposed to. These days, they aren't as popular as they used to be since they are not effective snow boots and wear out quickly.

Yes, I see them being worn quite often at the local malls by mostly younger women. I see them for sale quite often.

No, they are definitely out of fashion. At the moment it's not clear when and if they come back but anyway it's true not everybody can wear them with .

The latest model of them are in still in style. They are in Vogue magazine for this winter 2009-2010. Vogue is high fashion and is leading the fashion industry. These boots are both functional and high fashion. They are also great at multitasking as they can be worn with many different things!

Yes, they are but, you don't see them much because maybe people change style and some people just think them as ugly. Alhough there are much fake ugg boots that people are buying and they don't look like the real ones.

Well where I live it's very hot and we don't wear uggs until winter very few people here wear uggs with shorts

Ugg boots can be found in many stores as well as online. Summer is not the time to Ugg Boots, it is ridiculous to wear boots is the summer with short skirts, it does not make sense. In the winter it is much more popular.
