Tube cages are safe unless you have a pregnant hamster or a very large hamster that can get stuck in the tubes. If the hamster gets stuck without you realizing it that could be a deadly problem. Otherwise they are safe and the tubes provide a lot of entertainment for the hamster and you.

Yes it is safe for them, a very good add on in their cage. As long as they have the cage not all tubes they're going to be fine.

The tube cages are perfectly safe for a hamster. They enjoy playing, sleeping and even storing their food in there. Younger hamsters may have a harder time getting in to the tubes.

Hamsters enjoye the exercise in the tube cages. They appear to have more freedom to move around. It is very enjoyable to watch hamsters play in the tube cages. More hamsters approve tube cages than wire.

It really depends on the hamster! Some will be happy and content running around through the tubes, but others will start chewing through the plastic and can escape.

I have never known anyone to have a problem with them. I guess that means that they are safe for them.

Tube cages are a form of recreation for the hamsters. They go up and down, and through the tubes. You can extend the tubes or keep them small. I have never known a hamster to get stuck in a tube. You can put these in the cage or leave out in the open on the floor.
