Are there problems with the Prius Hybrid?

The Prius hybrid is among the vehicles that Toyota has recalled. the initial recall was announced in a subdued manner in November of 2009. Many owners have yet to receive their official recall notices, however Toyota has assured owners that they will be receiving notification "soon".

There are in fact a recall on the 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid due to a problem where the accelerator can become stuck on the floor mat causing acceleration.
