While there is no place in the world that slavery is "legal," it goes on in many places. Young women and children are sold into slavery around the world. In several middle east countries, slavery is very common as well.

Slavery being illegal is not an international law. Most countries state that slavery is illegal but the government turns a blind eye to the practice. Another issue is how a person defines slavery. A person living in a country such as the USA may feel is slavery and what someone leaving in another county believes is slavery may be different.

Yes still 90% of the places are still legal. Since they are not developed still now. Many people has to know about that legal.
