Does DYFS audio record my responses?

She only took notes. Can she lie about what I said?

If a hotline call is placed or an interview is conducted over the phone, yes. In person, the interviews are generally not recorded but sometimes are depending on the interviewer and the office policy. The interviewer could lie but probably would not because it would not be worth losing her job.

No, they don't automatically record your responses. Most places cannot legally record an interview without your permission. Of course someone could lie about what you said. In court it's up to the judge to decide who is telling the truth about the situation. If you're worried about it, try to get some witnesses to the event or character witnesses.
