There is most certainly bigger mp3 players than 512mb. If you are wanting to hold a lot of music that is very easily attainable these days. You can get 32 gigabytes of space on some mp3 players now. But most will come with about 8-16 gigs which is considerably more than 512mb.

There are loads of MP3 players holding more than 512 MB. Most hold at least a few gigabytes. You can check your local stores for ipods or cheap mp3 players.
