One GB, or gigabyte, is the equivalent of 1,000 MB (megabytes). Gigabytes (GB) are bigger, and the standard of most of today's technology. Most files are going to be in a megabyte form, and for each 1,000 MB you will have 1 GB. So, for each GB, you will have 1,000 MB.
