Are there any natural sunscreens?

Oh, yes. The lovely mineral zinc from planet Earth can be pulverized and mixed with olive oil or some other similar substance to make it stay where you put it. But don't make it yourself when it is available cheap as is or embedded in a moisturizer and is a lot more fun to use.

Unfortunately, God made the sun so we could get tan, that's why sunscreens are made in a factory and not at home.

Wearing appropriate cotton clothes that cover most of the skin helps to protect the skin. Oils that help to defend the skin against UV rays are aloe Vera, sesame, avocado, neem, rosemary, coconut, olive, peanut, etc. They are effective against fungus & germs and serve as antiseptics reducing sunburn effects. They can be used for home-based treatments.

Coconut oils have been very effective for centuries among the Polynesians. Organic ones are available commercially, but they can be more pricey. But, studies have shown it is great for your skin. It even helps prevent skin cancer.
