A plant that is "deer resistant" is supposed to be unappetizing for the deer. Unfortunately, deer that are really hungry are not picky and will eat just about anything.
The Carpet Rose would be the least affected by deer. The Cherry's and the Hydrangea can be severely damaged by deer, the rose has some protection though not enough.
These plants are not deer resistant. Deer love these plants. You should use deer resistant poison (not deadly) but something to dter the deer from eating them
Okame Cherry, Carpet Rose and Endless Summer Hydrangea are deer-resistant. Otto Lykens Cherry Laurel is also deer resistant but they may eat these plants during extreme winter.
