Most Sony earbuds have a 90 day limited warranty. They may also be covered if they came with a cd player or mp3 with warranty.

There is a 90 day warranty period from the day of your purchase. Under this policy, SONY has the option of choosing whether to fix particular sections and pieces of the Earbuds, or replace the entire item. SONY holds the right to refuse a partition for renovated or replaced Earbuds as stated in the Limited Warranty Agreement.
