Are Illinois tax forms substantially different from other states?

Answer by  stinkymess (310)

All states have their own tax form. Illinois tax forms are unique just as all of the other fifty states are.

Yes they are slightly different when it comes to filing for your state taxes. Though there is a similarity between forms for the federal tax filing sheets, when it comes to state tax, they will differ. Mainly because each state has certain things that it may take out for taxes that other staes won't.
