Michigan has some strick laws on exotic pets. Big cats and bears (large carnivores) are banned. Wolf-dogs are banned. Any animal showing the potential to do harm to people, livestock or property is banned. Other exotics that fall outside of these categories are subject to physical exams by vets, tests for diseases and you will need to ensure proper care.
