Many of the big name ones are open on sundays. Most have shorter hours those days but most are open seven days a week. A smaller local or state wide rental company may not be.

Although it can vary by both company and location, most of these types of businesses are open on Sundays. You should call ahead to be sure, though.

most car rentals now are located at the airport so yes they would be open on sundays call avis and ask
