There are many types of macaws with a variety of colors, but yes, there are blue and yellow macaws. This is a common color. Other colors that are common combinations are: green, red, blue, and gold; orange, gold, blue; and green, blue, and gold. They are also solid colors, most commonly green and red.

One type of macaw is the Blue and Gold Macaw, which is bright blue with gold markings. But there are other types of macaws which are not predominately blue. One such bird is the Scarlet Macaw which is bright red.
