Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn are only very, very distantly related-they were 19th cousins, once removed! Audrey was born in in Brussels, Belgium, and Katherine Hepburn was born in Connecticut. The common distant ancestor: James Hepburn, the Earl of Bothwell (and the third husband of Mary, Queen of Scots).

They are not related. Audrey Hepburn was born in Brussels, Belgium in Europe in 1929. Katherine Hepburn was born in Hartford, Connecticut in the United States in 1907. Both Audrey Hepburn and Katerine Hepburn were famous actresses in America but were not related in any way. They simply shared the same last name.
