Under the state "lemon law" only new vehicles are covered, and there are certain criteria, so you need to look it up. However, there is often recourse under other laws. You have 1 yr or 12,000 miles. You need to consult an attorney, or if you know someone who works in dealership sales, call them and utilize their knowledge.

Provisions for the return of the motorcycle will be stated in the sales contract. Review the options in the paperwork. If there are problems with the bike, and you are not able to return it, contact the Office of Consumer Affairs at the Office of the State Attorney General.

Contrary to popular belief there is no cooling off period in Georgia. The terms of the sale are governed by the retail sales contract. I suggest looking at the contract to see if there is a right of rescission clause which may allow you to void the contract.

You would need to talk to a lawyer to see, the lawyer would know the answer to that question. Go see one.
