A pure-bred Maltese weighs 10-12 lbs. A pekingese will weigh 14 lbs. I would expect a cross-breed to be 12 lbs. It may be slightly over 12 lbs.

I would expect a female to stay within your limit, but a male may get larger than this. If you are able to see the size of the parents- that is often a better indicator of the adult size of your pup than breed alone would be.
