Well race oil is usually a thin straight weight oil designed for race engine tolerance. Just use a pure synthetic oil and you should get just about the best mileage you can hope for and it cheaper. Use the money you save and fill it up high higher grade gas. That will give you a boost in mpg.

The oil designed for race cars does have a higher amount of cleaning additives and also has a higher temperature at which it starts to break down, which gives more protection to your engine. These oils also provide better lubrication which reduces the friction and can give a slight improvement in milage. The cost will be more than the savings.

No they won't give you better gas mileage. You basically have to re fuel your mileage. You can talk to your garage about this and they will help you make the right mileage choices. If you really want to increase your mileage that is the only way by consulting a garage to repair it.

While a lighter oil may ease some of the power lost to running the pump, the effect will be minimal compared to changing your driving habits.

that could be, because the racing oil designed for use on machines with high speed and with good lubrication and, when it used in regular vehicles will probably last longer.

race oil has to do with the lubrication of the engine. gas mileage is controlled by the fuel mixture going to the cylinders. good oil in the engine could maybe help it run better.

It will give you slightly better mileage, but it is not the sort of improvement that you will really notice.

It depends on what you mean by "race oil". Typically race engines use a straight weight oil not suited for a normal engine. For the best fuel economy you should use a full synthetic oil of the factory recommended weight. This will reduce engine friction and can give you a slight boost in mileage. Synthetic oil is more expensive though.

You would need to ask a professional about it to see, if it will. But I don't think it would.
