No, simple litmus paper will not tell you if you are ovulating. Ovulation test strips detect a very specific hormone, but litmus paper only detects acidity or lack thereof.

Litmus paper shows a fluid's acidity; it is not a reliable way to tell when you are ovulating by itself. There are tests that use a strip of paper, but it is detecting a hormone, not acid levels. There are methods for determining ovulation with moderate success from physical symptoms and body temperature; training is needed to use them.

As far as I know, it will not. There are ovulation tests you can purchase, but they are not as simple as a piece of litmus paper. Litmus paper can, however, tell you if your vagina is too acidic to host sperm.

No. You need ovulation prediction tests that monitor luteinizing hormone in your urine. Litmus paper does not have the ability to check for presence of luteinizing hormone.
