Will a rash just go away on its own?

Do you have to use a rash cream or prescription medication?

How a rash resolves depends on what is causing the rash. A minor skin irritation from chafing, say, will resolve on its own. A rash can be a symptom of disease, and the disease would have to be treated in order to heal the rassh.

A rash can go away on it's own depending on it's cause and how much irritation is inflicted on it. Creams are usually used to comfort the annoying itch and burning sensdations. You need to know what caused the rash and avoid further contact and maybe ask your doctor to look at it if it persists to check for infections

Some rashes will run their course and fade away, but some need medical intervention. There are rashes that need to be checked out by your doctor. A rash on your cheeks and nose, can be a sign of lupus. Small red or blue spots or dots that don't lose their color when pressed, can be signs of a dangerous condition.

Most of the time it is better to use a rash cream or prescription medication. A rash is usually an allergic reaction to something in your environment. Your rash can get worse if you do not use the proper medication.

Rashes often go away on their own, but you can often speed up the process by taking an over the counter allergy medicine.

It depends on what the rash is from. It can be as simple as switching your laundry soap or changing your diet if you have food allergies. Try to use an antihistimine cream or pill first. If that doesn't work call your doctor you may need a steriod cream.
