Why study drama?

It is a good idea to study drama if you are a creative person interested in different modes of expression. Drama conveys to audiences powerful emotions, and can influence peoples' feelings. Drama students are generally interested in all forms of fine art, and are able to think and interpret things in different ways.

Outside of the desire to become an actor, studying drama places you in situations where you will need to be able to think on your feet in front of people. You also learn to speak in front of people and develop the confidence that will serve you in interviews and other presentation settings.
