Fluoride has been widely proven to be an effective defense against tooth decay. It can be found in most toothpastes and given as treatments in dental offices.

Fluoride is supposed to protect the enamel of your teeth; for a while they even put it into water. If you are concerned about this, there are certain all-organic and chemical-free dental and hygiene produce available at stores and online that do not contain this chemical, but it is important for children to have it.

Fluoride is essential in toothpastes because it acts as a sealant to keep your teeth from getting cavities. There are a variety of fluoride toothpastes and mouthwashes on the market. Fluoride isn't recommended for small children but works great for adults. It leave a protective coating on the teeth that last for hours.
