Why is my Sony tv screen all red?

That just means one thing, it's name is stuck pixels, you should connect your TV to the PC and run programs offered in some websites in order to try to revive those pixels.

try messing with the color option settings for the tv. press the menu button the the tv and play around with the settings; that should fix it

Sony TVs are a very known brand worldwide. I do not know exactly why it appears red. A most likely cause would be an internal malfunction that will probably be solved. Red may come from a short circuit inside, and would be recommended to be taken to a TV service.

Before u do anything crazy just look under the properties for the TV where u can change and control and contrast, try messing with that first. otherwise call the company for warranty info.
