Why is my Pontiac Montana's turn signal flashing? How do I stop it?

If your signal light is flashing and you can't cancel them with the stalk then either you have a faulty turn signal switch or you have switched on the hazard blinkers. If it is the switch I would suggest taking it to your dealer and having them replace it before it cause electrical problems.

If one blinker light is flashing at double speed, the bulb on the other end of the car is out. (Right front turnsignal too fast? right rear bulb needs replacing).

typically, turn signals are supposed to flash. However, if it is flashing when the stalk is in neutral you may have to replace the stalk or the relay.

It is standard to all vehicles that the turn signal must flash. This will warn the other vehicles of your intention. Possibly it is in hazard mode if two turn signals simultaneously flashing. In this case, simply press the hazard button.
