Hair loss in Pitbull puppies is commonly due to demodicosis, that is characterized by microscopic mites that live on the fur. The puppy scratches the mites which induces hair loss.

Dog fur will fall out if it has a skin infection of some kind. Usually mange is the culprit which can lead to itching and significant hair loss.

There could be a few reasons. Your pup may have a food allergy or may not be getting enough vitamins in its diet. You may also want to have your little guy tested for mange.

The most common causes are sarcoptic mange, other mites, or dietary issues. This is not at all or EVER a normal occurrence and requires immediate vetting. There is something wrong with where or how they are being kept, and failure to seek treatment is a criminal misdemeanor in all states. Please get them help or surrender them.
