Take your puppy to the vet right away and get booster shots, vaccines, etc. The vet will check his temperature to make sure he is not sick and examine him. A change in food can cause this as well as puppies just like to eat everything. Give him pedialyte. It will give puppy minerals lost from vomiting.

There can be several reasons, from adjusting to new food, to an allergy, to a more serious issue. Closely monitor your puppy for a couple of days, make sure he/she is eating and taking in fluids properly, if the throwing up continues, have them checked out by a vet.

Your puppy is probably adapting to a new diet, or has eaten something that disagrees with them. If your puppy vomits more than twice per day, the problem probably requires a visit to the vet. In the meantime, try mixing some cooked rice into the puppy's food, and make sure to use food marketed for puppies.

Do some research on the food your puppy eats. It could be too rich and not agree with a delicate puppy stomach. Your puppy could also be allergic to an ingredient. Many pets chew on grass and other greens when they go outside which aids the digestive tract. This usually results in a pet throwing up.
