Generally, the ferret that you bought was full grown, it is very rare to find kits for sale unless you got this from a private breeder. If it is a kit and not growing, consult your vet for nutritional advice, check for internal parasites, and consultation on issues that would affect the ferret's growth.

It could simply be full grown and is just smaller than you thought it would be, or is could have some sort of health problem.

Your ferret may have an adrenal gland condition or may simply not being getting enough nutrition. Consult with your veterinarian if you feel your ferret is not growing enough.
