If your internet is working and IE is the only problem, first step is to go to Microsoft Windows Update website and install the latest version of IE.

Sometimes Internet Explorer stops working because you might have uninstalled some files that IE used to run. You also might have a virus. First, run your virus scanner, and if that turns out ok, call your computer's tech support or reinstall Windows.
